New 889 cc CP3 engine
The newly developed 889 cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder engine is lighter, quicker and more powerful, with more torque at lower rpm. A new intake and exhaust produce a beautiful sound that enhances the feeling of acceleration. New fuel injectors give increased efficiency, while optimized gear ratios and a refined assist-and-slipper clutch match the higher output of the EU5-compliant engine.
All-new lightweight CF aluminium die-cast frame
The entirely new compact CF die-cast aluminum frame design is a modern take on the Deltabox layout. A higher level of chassis stiffness improves rider feedback and stability while increasing the dynamic riding window. Optimized swingarm pivot structure, light and slim chassis, and a more laidback feel make the new XSR 900 a welcome day-to-day partner.
NEXT GENERATION DESIGN & STYLE
Quality and attention to detail is obvious from every angle, and it is clear that no corners have been cut and no compromises were made by designers in their mission to build this next generation Sport Heritage model. For a qualitative, yet race inspired image, the cockpit is enhanced with a machined top triple clamp, drilled fork caps and an aluminum XSR logo. Other features include an embossed aluminum rear underplate, forged foot controls, black brake reservoirs and bar end mirrors showing that this is a motorcycle that is ready to make an impression – and not just with the rider.
